We start our tour of Costa Rica by learning about the famous Costa Rica's coffee beans at CAFÉ BRITT, from the picking stage up the cup of coffee. After lunch we visit a Butterfly Farm in La Guacima. Imagine... hundreds of butterflies flying all around you! Big Blue Morphos, Adelphas, Fesonias, Little Mirrors or the "see-through" butterfly, Gretta Otto. Lunch included.

DAY 3 & 4:
Tortuguero National Park is a navigable network of lakes and channels, on the north Caribbean, allowing a great diversity of fauna and flora and is the most important nesting site for the green turtle ( from July to Sep ). This is one of the rainiest regions of the country making it one of the wilderness areas with the greatest biological variety. Get ready to hike Tortuguero cannals and have the experience of your life in this unique paradise of magnificent flora and fauna.

DAY 5 & 6:
These 2 days will be spent by the Arenal Volcano where you will also have the chance to relax at the hot springs. The flawless silhouette of Arenal, its loud rumblings and frequent explosions of lava have struck amazement in the hearts of thousands of observers. A tour to one of Costa Rica's most important conservation areas at Cano Negro Wildlife Reserve with a cruise down a jungle river is also included.

DAY 7:
Monteverde Cloud Forest awaits us today with hundreds of bird species including the Quetzal and a dazzling variety of hummingbirds. Giant trees are shrouded in a cascade of orchids, bromeliads, and in those patches where sunlight penetrates, brilliantly colored flowers flourish. Monteverde´s abundant natural life, its hiking trails, and the adjacent Quaker community founded in 1950 make this a unique and unforgettable experience. We will enjoy a walk through at a canopy level revealing a lush green garden of mosses, ferns, flowers and epiphytes growing thickly on every tree. Clouds drift in and settle among the slopes, giving the continuos moisture required for such exuberant plant growth. Dangling roots and vines sweep across the trails. The air is rich with the sounds of birds and the occasional scurrying of small mammals on the forest floor. In the distance a howler monkey roars. This is a cloud forest! Lunch included.

DAYS 8 - 9:
We head all the way to Pacific coast to stay at the Caribbean Village Fiesta, an ALL INCLUSIVE property in the area of Puntarenas situated on one of Costa Rica's most stunning and unusual black sand beaches. Caribbean Village Fiesta has 240 rooms set in two-story buildings surrounded by beautiful lush greenery. For the visual setting alone, you'd be hard-pressed to find a more dramatic or stunning resort. It has a primordial rainforest, the dazzling volcanic black sand beach and unspoiled natural parks. It's the perfect exotic backdrop for a number of activities including sailing, windsurfing or kayaking. You can do them all here and if you need a little help, the instructors are ready to teach you. Tennis is available around-the-clock and there are even dance lessons. Experience it all but do take advantage of the natural surroundings. Go hiking and be amazed by the natural beauty. In the pristine rainforest, you'll find breathtaking scenery like birds with more colors than you thought existed and trees older than most countries. The three specialty restaurants can satisfy the appetite you're bound to work up. You can always take in the nightly entertainment or head to the disco to work off the delicious dinner. And if you're feeling lucky then make a stop at the casino.
