DAY 1:
Bangkok
Arrive in Bangkok. After customs and immigration formalities, the group will be met by a tour representative.
Transfer to hotel accommodation.
Overnight: S.D. Avenue Hotel.
DAY 2:
Bangkok
In the morning, visit the splendid Grand Palace complex and the Royal Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) where the varied styles of Thai architecture are delicately woven together to enchant the viewer. In the afternoon visit three of the most famous monasteries in Thailand to experience the beauty of these spectacular yet delicate architectural works of art: the Marble Temple (Wat Benchamabophit), the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho) and the Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit). In the evening, enjoy an authentic Thai dinner in a traditional-style restaurant. The meal will be followed by a performance of Thai classical music and dancing. The glittering costumes and exquisite and graceful movements of the dancers will make this an evening to remember.

DAY 3:
Bangkok / River Kwai / Bangkok
An early morning excursion to the unspoiled, rural and most colourful floating market in the Kingdom, located in Damnoen Saduak, Ratchaburi Province. Continue on to visit Nakhon Pathom, site of the tallest pagoda in Thailand called Phra Pathom Chedi, also the tallest in South East Asia. This will give you an introduction into the Thai life. Continue to Kanchanaburi and the River Kwai with stops at the cemetery for Allied prisoners of war and the world renowned bridge over the River Kwai. Then to return to Bangkok.

DAY 4:
Bangkok / Ayudhaya / Phitsanulok
After breakfast, depart for Phitsanulok, a principal city of northern Thailand for more than 500 years. Enroute, stop to visit the famous and magnificent ruins of Ayudhaya, the former capital of Thailand from AD 1350 - 1767.
Meals: breakfast, lunch.
Overnight: La Paloma Hotel.
DAY 5:
Phitsanulok / Sukhothai / Chiang Mai
After breakfast, depart for Chiang Mai, Thailand's second largest city. Called the "Rose of the North", Chiang Mai is set in a valley amidst spectacular countryside and is blessed with a pleasant climate. A stop will be made along the way to visit the recently restored ruins of Sukhothai, the oldest of Thailand's former capitals (AD 1250 - 1350), where the Grand Palace and many temples are preserved as historically valuable monuments, essential elements of Thailand's cultural heritage.

DAY 6:
Hill-Tribe Villages / Chiang Mai
This is a one day trek to visit a Meo hill-tribe village, followed by stops to see the production of local handicrafts such as paper umbrellas, silk, silverware and lacquerware.
Meals: breakfast, lunch.
Overnight: Holiday Garden Hotel.
DAY 7:
Chiang Mai
After breakfast, leave Chiang Mai and travel north to an elephant working camp. Watch the elephants taking their daily bath in the river before beginning to haul lumber in the forest. You will be surprised by their strength and clever team work. Take an opportunity to ride on a elephant to discover unspoiled and natural forest on the mountain. In the afternoon, relax on private bamboo rafts along the river. Visit an orchid and butterfly farm and see the Doi Suthep Monastery, which is spectacularly situated on a mountain top at an altitude of 3,520 feet.

DAY 8:
Chiang Mai / Bangkok (by train)
Morning visit to local industries. Afternoon at leisure. Transfer to the train station for a night train back to Bangkok with second class air-conditioned sleeping berths.
Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner on the train.
Overnight: on the train.
DAY 9:
Bangkok / Ban Phe / Ko Samet
Arrive in Bangkok in the morning and depart by air-conditioned bus to Ban Phe with a stop to visit a crocodile farm. The island of Ko Samet is located east of Rayong, just off the coast from Ban Phe. Upon arrival at Ban Phe, connect by boat to Ko Samet. Note: Ko Samet is quiet and the bungalow is located on a very nice beach so that you can organize your own group activities.

Overnight: Samet Ville.
DAY 10:
Ko Samet
Morning boat tour around the island with snorkeling included. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy some of the superb beaches.
Meals: breakfast, lunch.
Overnight: Samet Ville.
DAY 11:
Ko Samet / Ban Phe / Bangkok
At leisure until boat transfer to Ban Phe and connect bus to Bangkok. Evening farewell dinner

Bangkok
Connecting bus transfer to Bangkok airport
