The Card
The International Student Identity Card (ISIC) is the essential travel card designed especially for students. Since it was first introduced in 1968 by the International Student Travel Confederation, more than 30 million students around the world have enjoyed the benefits of an ISIC.

Discounts
You'll save hundreds of dollars on travel, accommodation, sports rentals, and admissions to museums and cultural attractions. The ISIC World Travel Handbook, available free with an ISIC, provides discount information on more than 90 countries. (See sample savings).

Insurance
The ISIC (only when purchased in the U.S.) provides basic accident and sickness insurance for travel outside of the U.S., including hospital stays, accident medical expense, emergency evacuation, accidental death and dismemberment, repatriation of remains, passport protection and baggage delay insurance. Recognition
There is an abundance of different types of ID cards. However, if you want a card that will be recognized and accepted worldwide as a proof of your student status, ISIC is the right choice for you. It is the one and only internationally-recognized student travel card.
